MY HANDS-ON TAKE

My Forge Wallet review

I’m pretty particular about wallets. I’ve had my preferences since I was little, but after seeing Forge online, I wanted to give something different a try. I chose the leather version because I’m already fond of leather wallets. After using it for a few days, here’s what stood out.

The card mechanism is the highlight

The wallet was easy to use, and the card-ejection mechanism quickly became my favorite part. It fans the cards out so I can see them and pick the one I need. Honestly, I found myself pushing them back in and popping them out again like a fidget toy.

I mainly kept my ID and the credit cards I use most often in that section. In my setup, I found room for roughly seven or eight cards, depending on the cards. There are extra slots if you need a little more space. That’s my experience with this wallet, rather than a guaranteed capacity for every setup.

Room for cash and coins

There’s a compartment for coins or other small items, plus a place for cash. I showed dollar bills fitting neatly inside without adding much bulk. I also liked the overall texture and feel of the leather, and the wallet fit comfortably in my pocket.

One drawback: my Apple AirTag

An Apple AirTag wasn’t a good fit. Trying to put one in made the wallet too bulky for me. If carrying an AirTag inside your wallet is a priority, that’s something to keep in mind. My comments here are about the AirTag fit, rather than Forge’s own tracking option.

My verdict

Overall, I really enjoyed using the Forge Wallet and planned to keep using it after filming the review. The feel of the leather and the easy access to my cards were the biggest positives for me. If you’re looking for a wallet, I’d recommend checking it out.

These are my impressions after a few days of use, not a long-term durability test. You can watch the unboxing and follow-up review below to see the wallet in action.
