Athmaus.com is my personal review and video website. This policy explains information collected when you browse, comment, follow links, or contact me. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to admin@athmaus.com.
Browsing and website operation
This WordPress website is hosted by Hostinger. Hosting and security systems process technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, timestamps, and error logs to deliver and protect the website. The site uses LiteSpeed caching to improve delivery. Information sent through the website or by email may be processed by the hosting, email, and service providers involved.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is configured through Site Kit to help me understand visits, pages viewed, and how the site is used. Google tags may process device and browser information, interactions, referral information, identifiers, and cookies, depending on your settings and consent choices. Google AdSense and advertising cookies
The site is configured for Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to this or other websites. Google advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to personalize ads based on visits across the Internet, subject to applicable settings and consent requirements. Configuration does not mean that ads are currently approved or displayed on every page.
You can manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center or review participating vendors at YourAdChoices. These choices do not necessarily remove all advertising or all cookies. Where a consent message is presented, use its controls to accept, reject, or change your choices. Browser settings can also block or delete cookies.
Comments and Gravatar
If you comment, WordPress collects the fields shown in the form, including your name, email address, optional website, and comment, together with your IP address and browser user agent for moderation and spam prevention. Your comment and chosen public name can be visible to other visitors after approval. Your email address is not displayed with the comment. Please do not include private information in a public comment.
If you choose the comment form option to remember your details, WordPress stores your name, email, and website in convenience cookies, normally for one year. Avatars are enabled. An email hash may be sent to Gravatar to find an associated avatar; see Automattic’s privacy policy. Approved comments and their metadata can remain indefinitely unless removed, including to recognize follow-up comments.
Messages and retention
If you email me, I receive the contact details and information you include. I use them to answer questions, address corrections or privacy requests, and manage relevant correspondence. Please send only the information needed for your request. Messages, operational logs, and related records are retained as needed for their purpose, security, legal obligations, and resolving disputes. Actual retention periods vary by service and record type; this site does not promise a fixed automatic deletion period.
Social and affiliate links
TikTok and Instagram buttons are outbound links rather than embedded players. Following them takes you to another service with its own privacy and cookie practices. Other external links are also governed by their destination’s policies.
Forge Wallet is currently my only affiliate relationship. Following the Forge purchase link or using ATHMAUS10 may allow Forge and its service providers to attribute a purchase and calculate a commission. Purchases and payment information are handled by the merchant, not by Athmaus.com. See the Disclosure page for the relationship.
Your choices and requests
You can browse without submitting a comment or email, limit cookies in your browser, use Google’s privacy controls, and request access to or deletion of personal information held by this site by emailing admin@athmaus.com. If you have commented, WordPress provides tools for exporting or erasing associated personal data. Some information may need to be retained for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law. I may need enough information to verify a request before acting.
This policy may be updated when the site’s practices or services change. The date above identifies the latest policy revision.
